This age group begins the transition from toddler to preschooler. During this time, we focus on fostering independence, learning to be a part of daily routines, and play based learning. Developmentally appropriate activities are planned to introduce academic concepts of letters, numbers, colors, shapes, etc. Children are active throughout the day moving from circle time, table time, music and dancing, and reading. Early exposure to these concepts provide the child with a foundation for successful learning.
